Message	my current rpf1's 18x9.5 +38 up front with a 265/35/18 tire. It is the bare minimum for clearance. I used to have a pair in the 17x9 +35 size and they would clear a little easier with the same 10mm spacer for my setup. I believe the r33 front rotors are a true 13inches too. So you should be able to clear your setup with a 10mm spacer. As for tire choice, that 255/40/17 should fit just fine with a decent ride height. I'm fitting my current setup with very minimal (if any) rubbing at the very extremes and my front fender height is at 13.5" from the ground with the negative camber settings at the oem limit. I am probably going to drop my ride height some more with minimal side effects.
